Profile

Robert Lanzone was drawn into the legal profession with a desire to make a difference for his clients.  Bob believes that, as a nation governed by the rule of law, lawyers can help their clients through the maze which is our current legal system.  Bob is committed to making that system work for his clients.  Bob’s empathy with the client and considerable legal experience guide him in assuring that his legal work will make a difference and achieve the best possible result for the client.

Current Legal Practice

Bob is a senior partner at the firm where he has been practicing law since 1970.  Bob represented Peninsula cities for over 45 years.  During his municipal law career, he served as City Attorney for San Carlos, Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, and as Town Attorney for Woodside.

Membership & Activities

Bob has served his legal community for many years, first as President of the San Mateo County Bar Association in 1983, and as Chair of the Municipal Law Section.  He is a member of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association and past member of the Legal Aid Board.  In 2006, Bob was awarded the William R. Nagle, Jr. Award recognizing his selfless commitment of time and energy to advance the professionalism of the San Mateo County Bar Association.

Bob was the general counsel for Provident Credit Union for over 25 years, and currently serves as a member of Provident’s Board of Directors.  Bob’s past activities were as President and Board Member of the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, member of the St. Charles School Board, Archdiocese of San Francisco Board of Education, San Carlos Rotary, Pacific Philharmonic, Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival, San Carlos Downtown Park, San Carlos Youth Authority, and San Carlos Parks and Recreation Foundation.
