Kimberly L. Chu
Kimberly Chu joined the firm in 2013 as an associate attorney. She graduated in 2012 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a concentration in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. During law school, Kim worked as a Trial Team Litigation Extern at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office. She was awarded CALI/WITKIN Awards for her academic performance in her Negotiations & Settlement, and Mediation classes. She was also a Teaching Assistant for the UC Hastings’ Legal Writing and Research Department.
Before joining ADC&L, Kim was an attorney with a litigation firm in San Francisco where she focused on business litigation and second-chaired a week-long trial in San Francisco Superior Court.
Current Legal Practice
Kim works with the partners at ADC&L to service both our private and public entity clients. Her areas of practice include estate planning, probate, conservatorship, and real estate matters. She also counsels entrepreneurs and is experienced in setting up legal entities to serve the clients’ business needs.
Kim currently serves as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Carlos; Deputy City Attorney for the City of Foster City; and Deputy Counsel for the Coastside Fire Protection District.
Membership & Activities
Kimberly is a member of the Barristers and Estate Planning & Probate Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association. She also serves as a Board Member for the San Mateo County Women Lawyers’ Educational Foundation and the Arbor Bay School.
